Join us on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 6-8pm at church for our congregational meeting. We’ll provide dinner and childcare. Please RSVP here.

Why do this on a Wednesday night instead of after a Sunday service? Meetings after Sunday service are great because everyone has a chance to attend. However, with tired, cranky children (and sometimes adults) as well as competing Sunday activities, congregational meetings often end up becoming business-like, rushed, and impersonal. While we recognize some may not be able to attend a weekday congregational meeting, we believe a focused, extended time will allow for more celebration, contribution, and conversation among all who attend.

How will this be different from our congregational meetings in the past? We hope to use this gathering to not only share what’s going on with the church but have time to praise our God for all He’s done and pray for what’s in store. This means times for worship and prayer while we’re together. We also will give more time for members to ask questions that are important to them and hear what they desire for God to do at Grace Alameda. This means more dialogue and discussion together.

What about my kids? We are gladly providing childcare for nursery up to 5th grade kids. Just RSVP and let us know if they’ll be joining you that night.

What about dinner? We’ll provide sandwiches for both adults (turkey/roast beef) and children (PB&J). RSVP and let us know how many we should prepare.
